This is a compilation across six discs. It felt a bit disjointed as a result. Of course, Ella is a fabulous vocalist and a mainstay of this period of jazz/swing.

Loved the social consciousness of this album. Feels both of its time and still totally relevant. Easy to listen to in a single sit.

Hard to turn off. Feels like I could listen 20 more times and still hear something new.
