1001 Albums Summary

Quite enjoyed this one. Nice to be reminded of Heroes, which is just such a beautiful song. Bit of a challenging listen sometimes - more something to sit down with and listen intently than to have on in the background. Loved Neukoln - the ambient/instrumental one. Overall, just so many beautiful instrumentals on here. Might go back for an immediate second listen. Did go back for an immediate second listen and loved it too. I'll give it four stars to leave some room up top.

Great conceptual album. I liked it a bit less than Heroes though - preferred the instrumentation and darker undertones there. Still some classics on here and just a very listenable album. I'd go a high three stars.

Supers strong album - probably a 9/10 for me. Love the first half with the long intro. Wonderful instrumentation too. Didn't like some of the songs in the second half of the album as much, that's what I'm giving strong 4 stars for this amazing record.

Lots to love, but got bored of it by about the second half. Will definitely go back though, liked quite a few of the first half songs in particular. Might give it a very strong 3 stars 🤔

I love this kind of folk rock too much man. Call me a stomp clap millennial the way I'm rocking with Fleet Foxes. Will have to go back for a second listen for sure. Gotta be a 4 star record for me.

Not my preferred style. Some songs that I enjoyed, especially at the beginning of the record. Nothing that blew me out of the water though. Would give this maybe two stars - this keeping in mind that I am using this rating system to rate all time classic albums, so among those albums, it's two stars for me.

I remember liking this, but it also didn't blow me away. Some nice smooth tunes though.

This is awesome, man. I love Brian Eno. Goated ambient songs, just so good. Hard to believe it's from 1975. Easy four stars for me.
