Born To Run by Bruce Springsteen
Jun 24 2026

Have been meaning to listen to Springsteen properly because I mostly associate him with "Born in the USA" which is not my favourite.

Horses by Patti Smith
Jun 30 2026
Led Zeppelin by Led Zeppelin
Jul 01 2026

I know and like some songs on this record but never listened to the full thing. Was thinking about buying this record for my brother's birthday just yesterday, what a coincidence!

Jul 02 2026
Sticky Fingers by The Rolling Stones
Jul 06 2026

A classic for a reason

Play by Moby
Jul 07 2026

Natural Blues is a banger but I don't think I know any of the other songs. Looking forward - Natural Blues is a good song and the closing songs are very good. Coherent album but don't see myself listening to the whole record very often

Beyond Skin by Nitin Sawhney
Jul 09 2026

Experimental and very cool but don't see myself listening to the whole thing a lot. Some select songs maybe

Tigermilk by Belle & Sebastian
Jul 10 2026

Really nice album. Had some songs that were more electronic and different from what I knew from Belle& Sebastian. The whole record feels vaguely nostalgic.

Music in Exile by Songhoy Blues
Jul 14 2026

I had never heard of them before but this record is soo cool and so groovy!

Bright Flight by Silver Jews
Jul 15 2026

I was going to review this by saying it's like a worse version of Pavement, checked the band description, and found out that Stephen Malkmus is actually in it. Now I feel a bit bad for Berman, who started this project before Pavement was ever a thing. Sorry, mate. Nevertheless, don't see myself listening to this a whole lot.

The Good, The Bad & The Queen by The Good, The Bad & The Queen
Jul 16 2026

I was vaguely aware of TGTBTQ as a side project of Damon Albarn's but never listened to them. Turns out it's an insane crossover of him, Fela Kuti's Tony Allen, The Verve's guitarist Tong, and The Clash bassist Simonon?? Wild. The songs are all vaguely about London and very good. Very similar to Albarn's solo stuff which I really enjoy. Very nice record
