1001 Albums Summary

The first half of the album really didn't do it for me but the second half certainly shined. Don't think it's a must listen but nonetheless it was a fun listen

Two David Bowie albums in one day & this was certainly the better one. Every song hits you hard with an atmospheric eery vibe while allowing you to feel like you're floating in and out of the conventions of music. Every song was wonderful. A must listen.

An essential punk album that defined a whole genre while not even fully being the genre itself. A masterclass of an album.

For one of the first metal albums I've ever listened to - it's wonderful. I can see how it became so popular and is so highly rated. Tracks like Orion showcase some real mastery in music. Awesome album

A chameleon has been used to describe David Bowie many times. Unfortunately I am not creative enough to come up with another term. It is spot on. David Bowie is an incredible, beautiful, chameleon.

Shockingly good. I had never heard of them but now I'm addicted. The album ranges from beautiful, personal ballads to hard core, horn filled, guitar tracks. This album has fully convinced me that the 60s were the most important decade in the history of music. It's a shame this album wasn't more successful
