Tracy Chapman by Tracy Chapman
Jul 10 2026

Really entertaining listen, albeit with some weak cuts. She’s got a wonderful voice. A lot more good cuts on this album than I expected. A pleasant surprise all around.

Low by David Bowie
Jul 11 2026

Better than I remember. It's a lot, but there's some good parts. Second half is bizarre... only the last track stuck with me. BUT I think it was my favourite song on the album. First half was alright and second half wasn't exactly my thing. An interesting experience

Hysteria by Def Leppard
Jul 12 2026

WAYYYY too long. Five minutes was pushing it. I've always hair metal and this album didn't change that in the slightest. Oh! And every song sound the same. Generally just such a terrible experience. Thumbs way down.

Paul's Boutique by Beastie Boys
Jul 13 2026

A lot better than I remember- and I remember a good ass album. This is one of the most entertaining hip hop albums I've heard in a hot minute. Not a second feels wasted. While I do have some gripes, most are minor. This is just one hella tight album. Ludicrously entertaining. It just... it sounds so GOOD in my EARS!!

Led Zeppelin II by Led Zeppelin
Jul 14 2026

Very inconsistent. Some songs are really good and others are just... not. I can see why it's a classic but it falls apart the more you think about it. It's fine. I just currently prefer Led Zeppelin I.

Nilsson Schmilsson by Harry Nilsson
Jul 15 2026

A rather silly album (complimentary). Very Beatles-esque at times but maybe that just makes me sound out of touch. The songs that don't stand out really don't but the highlights are often entrancing. Entertaining album albeit one I won't return to often (with exceptions for certain songs)

#1 Record by Big Star
Jul 16 2026

Such an adorable album. Sounds a little dated but it's so charming. I can totally see how it would go on to inspire so many of my favourite acts. Not a bad one in the slightest. I liked this quite a bit

The Good, The Bad & The Queen by The Good, The Bad & The Queen
Jul 17 2026

Compelling at the start but the album has lost all steam halfway through. It is a DRAG to finish but some songs in the first third make up for it. Weird album

2112 by Rush
Jul 18 2026

I don't get it. It's drawn out and nothing happens. Irrelevant at best and dull at its worst. Was not feeling it

Hot Shots II by The Beta Band
Jul 19 2026

Bizarre but I liked it. It was giving AnCo a lot at times. Not a favourite but still a surprisingly great album. Colour me suprised

Queen II by Queen
Jul 20 2026

Not my jam. A slog to get through at times, but not forgettable. It has its moments, even if they are rare. Not really worth a listen but I was certainly expecting worse. The first disc SUCKED but I'd be lying if I said the second disc wasn't an improvement. Just not a great improvement. Or a great album! I guess ultimately I just don't like Queen.

Jul 21 2026

Really well done, but just like "Maggot Brain', I wouldn't say it's my thing. Some electric instrumentation and genius funks but I think a lot of it went over my head. Would absolutely recommend, I just wasn't blown away

You're Living All Over Me by Dinosaur Jr.
Aug 05 2026

Simply just some of the best noise rock out there. Never lets up and is unnecessarily catchy. I found it impossible to not have fun. "Just Like Heaven" on the deluxe has quickly become an all timer for me. Brilliant stuff
