1001 Albums Summary

I thought this was quite cloying and overly sentimental. Opening and closing tracks specifically were very on the nose to me.

Really really dig this, even more so than I did the last time I listened to it a couple months ago, I just love the energy that this specific brand of Canadian indie has, where it seems like you could use anything to make music, whether it's full sweeping string section or improvised percussion

Reminds me of being in high school show choir again, I have to be in a bet specific mood for Motown and then I love it

Made me remember 2020, which was the first year I really started listening to music journalism, and everyone pretty much agreed that the best album of the year was fetch the bolt cutters by fiona apple, I should be listening to her more, she's so inventive and so listenable

The singles on this album are so ubiquitous that I didn’t think anything clever could be said about them, but I actually think it’s really smart sequencing to put someone like you as the last song on the album

It’s Queen, it’s awesome

I think the Police are not entirely my vibe, a little too ska-adjacent

Near perfect, only thing holding me back is my love for pure folk elliott smith, but I think the orchestrations on this one are quite good all the same

Good stuff, keeping in my back pocket for my next road trip

Cream is good, I think I like their other album slightly more, the eric clapton political views section of his wikipedia is wild
