1001 Albums Summary

Well damn... I love motown and funk and love so many songs on this album and never would've been able to identify the band. Excellent first album to kick this off. Highlights: Listen to the music Sunshine (Go away today) Summer Breeze Pts 1 & 2 That Lady Pt 1

well... there are some catchy beats here but it feels like the fundamental goal was to be as offensive as possible... which makes it really hard to give any shits about!

Feels like important folk history, a genuinely lovely listen

This was a tough one - there are a few genuinely beautiful songs on this album and Elliott Smith's influence in the indie genre is undeniable - but much of the content feels draining. Like an energy vampire in musical form.

A real "do I have to" listen. Where is my mind is great and Gigantic is a minor bright spot, but everything else is boring and noisy. Strong "meh" vibes from me.
