1001 Albums Summary

Doesn't end as strong as it starts

The forefather of a generation. So many riffs I'd heard before. Would not listen to the whole album again, but there are strong songs

Alot of what affects the rating of an album AS A WHOLE, and not just the songs as individual, is the cohesiveness of the album. I've realised a good album will be cohesive in sound, where the songs are cohesive in sound and clashing. However, a great album will be cohesive I'm vibe in a manner that altogether disregards the consistency of sound. This album does that, being an album that brings together completely different sounds under the same record, yet do so in way that seamlessly blends together, not just the songs -as is the case in this album- but also the vibe being curated. Ultimately this album strings you along as the listener, taking control of the vibe such that opposing vibes become cohesive once again.

All songs were good, except whatever the hell FX was, which hinders re-listenability

How do you rate a Radiohead album? Idk but I like in rainbows over ok computer especially since it starts quicker and slows down.

All the songs are completely listenable, but that's where my complements end. I don't really enjoy the singers voice but I could see it being good in certain songs. I dont understand the vibe it's trying to bring about so I can imagine a scenario where I am in the mood to re listen to any of the songs. I have more hope for other albums in the discography. 2
