1001 Albums Summary

Didn't expect to like this as much considering I'm not a huge fan of this kind of 80s metal but this is pretty fun. Campy, bombastic, political & never gets tiring, which is usually my problem with this kind of metal. Also every time I listen to Invaders I think of Dayman from its always sunny. (not a bad thing) maybe I'll change my rating once I listen to more metal but I had a lot of fun with this! Favorite Track - The Prisoner & Run to the Hills Least Favorite Track - 22, Acacia Avenue

uhhh.. not my thing at all. I can recognize that the craftsmanship is great but I never felt the heaviness in the sound as I do with other hard rock bands like Zepplin & Stooges. I think my biggest problem was the vocals and the production, both were underdeveloped and kinda annoying. Highway Star is a pretty good song but everything else went in one ear and out the other. sorry!
