Really puts the poetry in Rhythm-Assisted Poetry. It was nice overall and has some of my favorite Kendrick songs on there, but the album as a whole feels more like a story/series of poems rather than just songs if that makes sense. This album did big things big for the culture and rap, but it's not going to be on constant rotation for me.
Really good, holy shit they are tickling the ivories. However, some of these lyrics mama...what exactly are we talking about???
Holy shit Axl Rose can not sing. The songs that had a promising instrumental were immediately obliterated by Axl's pseudo-singing
A bit of a nothingburger album. While Appetite for Destruction I loathed the singing and felt the instrumentals shined, this album just felt like a whole lot of nothing. Not particular offensive but not particularly good either.
I wish that there were half star ratings. This album fits in a genre of music I classify as "Six Flags White Water Music". I didn't particularly like any songs but there were some that were almost good to me. Also, count how many times these guys start the song with a scream holy hell
So groovy. Loved every track from the beginning to the end.
It was a nice listen. Cold was the only song that really stuck out to me. Not sure if I would come back to the album as a whole.

Received this album to review the day after her passing. It was a nice album and the only album of Dolly Parton's I have ever listened to. Classic southern strife with songs about poverty, dubious men, and family tensions but also those about reconciliation and coming to terms with who you are and the cards you were given. RIP Dolly Parton
Dude this (to me) sucked hard. Like I'm assuming they were probably a cornerstone in punk rock or something of the like, but holy hell. Nothing more to say really

It was alright. I'm struggling to find something of substance to say? Definitely a blues album with some rock intertwined. Again, suffers (for me) from "none of the songs really stuck out to me" syndrome. A decent enough listen but no intention to ever return back to the album
If possible, I would have given this a 2.5. But it was not Buzzcocks or The Sonics level of poo and pee so I won't. I really wanted to like this album since I feel like I hear so many people rave about My Bloody Valentine, but I felt neutral/disliked more songs than I enjoyed (only really liked No more sorry). I don't understand the hype I fear... For so many of the songs it's like they're singing as far away from the microphone as humanly possible. The instruments are nice, but they don't really carry the songs in any way for me to have an overally positive impression of the album.
What a fun album from start to finish. Obviously knew a lot of the more popular tracks before starting the journey, but was pleasantly surprised by some new ones. Before listening, I imagined I would enjoy The Love Below over Speakerboxx due to my favorites of the album (Roses and Hey Ya) being on that disc. However, Speakerboxxx, to me, is the better side in terms of consistent quality and enjoyment. The Love Below however seems to have more higher highs (with also lower lows...). Points do of course have to be subtracted due to the unnecessary length. No album in the WORLD needs to be 2 hours and 15 minutes. All in all, a delight to listen to all the way through for the first time
Sometimes I listen to music and think, "I don't think I'm old enough or have enough life experiences to really understand this". An album I'd probably have to revisit in my late 30s/40s
Some albums/groups that I've never heard of hold so much aura before I listen to them. This is one of them. Was so excited to finally listen to Joy Division, but I finished the album thinking "this is what everyone was raving about???" It was fine but only fine, nothing remarkable to me
