I wish I could get over the vocals, but I can't. It made the album unlistenable for me. I was intrigued by the Disonance, tragic tale, and interesting arrangements. But I couldn't stick with it because the vocals.

Has any ray Charles album been bad? He knows what he's doing in every song. Not a note wasted. Not a run, rhythm, or harmony left to chance, yet at the same time natural and organic.
