1001 Albums Summary

Classic for a reason. The band, the piano, the swinging vocals. But it feels dated 60 years later - not something I would seek out but happy to have it show up once in a while for nostalgia.

An album of classics that I've never asked where they came from. Definitely a bit dated, feels like some could be right at home in a classic Bond movie. But like those movies, not something I'd put on every day.

I'm not usually much of a metal listener, but couldn't help getting into this. The guitar, the drums, the vocals all hit hard but are clean and clear and constantly compelling.

I'm impressed by her versatility and vocal ability as she jumps between genres in one album, but none of those genres are really for me especially when flavored with her particular tone
