1001 Albums Summary

I mean, it’s Led Zeppelin. They’re a big deal for a reason. For me, the beginning and end of the album were gripping and the middle lost me a bit. I vibe heavily with the intro on Friends–who else can make acoustic guitars go that hard?? Other stand-outs were Bron-Y-Aur Stomp—which did indeed have me stomping and clapping—and Hats Off to (Roy) Harper with its insane production and heavy blues influence.

Of course Iron and Wine autoplayed after this—this album gives such excellent context for some of the music I hold nearest and dearest. What a timeless sound, too.

This brand of rock is really comforting to me. I really appreciate the wit in the lyrics and the creative use of synth! I found the album to be quite long however and it started to lose me.

I love Tom Petty. I love the upbeat, almost punky vibe this album has. Makes me happy!

I have Stevie Wonder trauma but the man makes excellent music
