1001 Albums Summary

Ah what a great start to this challenge. The first song is Jacob and I’s first dance song, so instantly I feel filled with love. I haven’t ever reached for this album for a full listen - I’m quite surprised actually. What a contrast to the funky beats of I’ve Never Found a Girl to How Can You Mend A Broken Heart.

Unlike sonic youth this album is one world never have picked out myself on the simple basis of preconceived judgements and yet what a pleasant experience it is to be wrong. I think I can begin to understand the hype. A journey of an album with smooth transitions and a harmonious blend of melody and vocals. A grin when the climax of great gig in the sky filled my ears.
