Nevermind by Nirvana
Sep 08 2026

What else can I say!

With The Beatles by Beatles
Sep 09 2026

Been listening to a lot of garage and psyche, and so few bands play with this light of a touch, but still with aggression and so much energy. Supreme confidence. The originals are mostly great, covers are all great.

Lust For Life by Iggy Pop
Sep 10 2026

Classic, great songs, fun production. In some ways an improvement on the Pop formula, but overall I prefer younger, hairier Iggy.

Fulfillingness' First Finale by Stevie Wonder
Sep 11 2026

Just don’t like it. Corny but not fun. Some interesting complexity but doesn’t move me. A lot of it is just so slow, and for what? It’s not relaxing, but hardly any tension either. Lyrics mostly make my eyes roll, though the sentiments are all perfectly good. Lifelong Stevie Wonder skeptic, but heard more to like this time, prolly growing on me.

Synchronicity by The Police
Sep 12 2026

Pretty annoying, nothing I especially liked about it, lots I disliked. Guess I’d rather listen to this than Bon Jovi

Playing With Fire by Spacemen 3
Sep 14 2026

New to me, but really liked it. Took a couple tracks to get into, but ultimately found it very cool and fun to have on while I did some cooking and chores. Will have to revisit stoned.

Cheap Thrills by Big Brother & The Holding Company
Sep 18 2026

Fun, cool, sounds great in stereo

Frank by Amy Winehouse
Sep 22 2026

Very good, couple great songs. Something about it doesn’t totally click for me. Some of the jazz and hip hop influences seem to be competing rather than working together, maybe. What a voice, tho, huh?!

Phaedra by Tangerine Dream
Sep 23 2026

Very cool music, really creates a mood, liked reading about how it was produced and alla that

Stankonia by OutKast
Sep 24 2026

Probably my favorite, very nostalgic for me but something I appreciate more every time I listen.

Tracy Chapman by Tracy Chapman
Sep 26 2026

Lyrics are great, love the blend of seemingly personal stuff with social/political commentary. Musically, though, I find it doesn’t really move me. More of a production thing than a performance thing maybe, but just all a little dull despite the content.

First Band On The Moon by The Cardigans
Sep 27 2026

One of my favorites! Incredible production, sick guitar. The music is so familiar and so original, feels like there’s something for everyone. Her voice is perfect, sounds normal but also very unique, perfectly suiting the funny and relatable lyrics.
