To be honest I loved this. Both tame and experimental. Really great album. Felt sincere which is not something I expected from this band. Not sure why.

Hard for me to understand how this is distinct from other similar jazz around the same time since I have listened to so little of it. It's good? I don't know that I'll return to it. A few moments I liked, otherwise it felt like everything started kind of subtle, went to 11, then came back down. Rinse repeat.

Really don't ever need to hear this again.

The longer this went on the less I liked it. Pretty sure I like Dire Straits? Can't deny Sultans, but as a whole this was...pretty bad.

Fail to see what's interesting about this beyond the occasional jam. At best it was boring. At worst it felt indulgent and self-important. Don't need to hear it again.

Good album. Interesting story. I love the guitars. The songs themselves didn't blow me away, but I liked them.

Outside of the hits, I found this a little underwhelming.

She's a great vocalist but these songs oscillate between forgettable and terrible. "You look like a movie, you sound like a song." Compelling stuff.
