1001 Albums Summary

wow gets groovier, I also didn’t realise this is where wild world comes from it was so mellow and unremarkable at the start but when the energy picks up it gets mildly intriguing. miles from nowhere was decent. nothing else is something i’m itching to save. actually i really like the closing track

Hit and miss and the “hits” were mediocre at best, really not an album for me. The slow songs were unbearable, the higher energy ones were ok.

pass, not engaging with Kanye West

Banger after banger!!! Exactly what I needed today :). Like surprisingly good, I guess I knew some of the most popular/famous songs of theirs but not enough to appreciate the craftsmanship. But also I’m going through a phase of quite energetic music so my body was craving something like this.

I like walking on the sidewalks. other than that pretty unremarkable. the bronze is good. easy listening. spiders and vinegaroons is AMAZING

Already knew the album quite well before this, it’s a nice no-skip album for me. the sheer joy My Doorbell and the Denial Twist give me just about pushes it into 5 stars, but I was also pleasantly surprised by Instinct Blues. Last two songs not quite as strong, makes the album lose a little bit of momentum. But perfection can’t be chased and this album is a joy.

BANGER!!!! loved loved darling Nikki and the first few tracks. a few misses makes it not 5 stars but the vibes are vibing!!!!

not really my vibe. like it’s not unlistenable but it’s not something I would go out of my way to find/listen to. I think it’s the vocals and how repetitive the songs are. Talent is an asset I liked. complaints too.
