such a great and powerful album, has meaning and feeling all throughout. beautiful
soft rock, i enjoyed the guitar solos and my favorite of the whole album was new kid in town. not my usual type of music but i enjoyed exploring something different
i have not really listened to a full album in a different language before so this was cool to listen to. i love the style/genre it has a light and happy mood all throughout. good music to dance to
reminds me of the killers, however not my favorite album so far… the best songs are tell her tonight, 40 and take me out ofc. i liked the german randomly at one point. its okay.
i love it. best album i’ve gotten so far, i particularly love waterfall, made of stone, shoot you down, this is the one and fools gold (basically the whole album). there isn’t a song i didn’t like i will be adding the whole album to my library and definitely will listen again!!
from the beginning i thought it was different and i wasn’t sure i liked it but i did enjoy the introduction into hail bop. another thing i liked was the electronic sound in the voice of the song default. other than that this album wasn’t for me the build up of the songs were okayish but when the vocals came in it got boring, i didn’t like the voice and the lyrics weren’t intriguing to me, it has no feeling to it. i respect the experimentation but no.
consistent throughout, very rock. i like it but, probably not my style of music but i did enjoy listening.
such a good album. the songs all blend together so perfectly revoking the same emotion of uncertainty and that raw emotion of sadness and hope. my favorites are plainsong into pictures of you, it has such a pretty transition into the next.
Nico has a consistent voice all throughout, i recognized these days and can see why it’s popular, i enjoyed how the album started but when i got to ‘it was a pleasure then’ it was not very enjoyable mainly because of the shreaky guitar, i did love the violins and my favorite song from the album was ‘wrap your troubles in dreams’ because of the violin plucking and flute. over all the album was pretty but i don’t think i’d listen again. this might be far fetched but her voice occasionally sounds a tiny tiny bit like sades especially in ‘eulogy to lenny bruce’
it’s not bad, i like the soul and funk but not sure i’d listen again. i enjoyed sex machiene mainly bc of the long duration but how it had a build up and layers of instruments while going back to the begging of the song toward the end. souls clappin’ ll, stand! and my brain (zig-zag) were also good
SOO GOOD! marvin gaye has always been an incredible artist so i knew i was going to like this
Not too bad! occasionally VERY rock and roll but other times quite calming like tangerine and that’s the way. i don’t mind this album and enjoyed listening :)
i did not like it. in like 4 of his songs he was just repeating the same word over and over again. i also don’t like his voice. the only song i enjoyed was why are people grudgeful? and that was just for the instrumental. overall not the best ever, lyrics were just words with no meaning, it was ehh
that was brilliant, i really liked it, it’s nice to listen to a rock band that’s different from the typical american rocky bands. refreshing and so good i love her voice

really cool, i enjoyed most of the album it has a very distinct sound to it not like any other music especially egel it comes to their voices, would listen again!
