Beyond Skin
Nitin SawhneyCool album. The popier stuff reminded me of FKA Twigs and early Massive Attack -- which is a very high compliment. A very ecclectic album with all sorts of influences that I will return to.

Above average summer of love fare. Definitely influenced by superior mid 60s psychedelia like Revolver and Pet Sounds. Some cool songs though. "Renaissance Fair", "Mind Gardens," and "My Back Pages" are the stand outs. You can definitely hear some early Crosby, Stills, and Nash in some of the songs, which makes sense given that David Crosby was the Byrds' lead guitarist.
definitely some good tracks. The kind of album (like most albums) I think I would need to listen to more than once. Definitely could see myself liking it a lot after a bunch of listens.
Never been a huge Aerosmith fan. Some decent tracks, a lot of bluesy stuff, but just not totally up my alley.

Just didn't do it for me. I had somewhat high expectations and was kind of underwhelmed. The whole album was just meh.
Definitely a fun, unique group. Some very memorable songs but didn't hold my attention all the way through.
A lot of unique textures and sounds. The good songs are really good. I definitely could see myself liking this album a lot upon further listens.
Just not my thing
Just didn't do it for me. I found the music (and lyrics) kind of corny. It's the kind of music you'd hear in a trailer for a big budget action film
Held my attention. Not something I would really listen to again. Sort of toed the line between pretentious and interesting. 3.5
Not half bad! A precursor to soft folk rock singer songwriters like Jack Johnson and Citizen Cope. Something I could see myself coming back to.
Tempted to give 4 stars, but I think I have to deduct at least half a star because this band is a fairly blatant copycat of Oasis. The music isn't awful though.
Definitely a cool sound and something I could see myself returning to. It was a little repetitive, so i'm gonna give it 3.5 with the caveat that my score could very well increase upon future listens.
Hard to give a genius like Neil Young anything lower than a 4.
I had heard of this band because of their association with Johnny Marr. Didn't think this album was anything particularly special.
Nothing particularly special
The song Bad Company on the album Bad Company by the band Bad Company from the movie Bad Company
classic punk
3.5 for now but once I really have a chance to examine the lyrics that could change
I have a feeling i'd like this album a lot if I got a few more listens. For now it's a 3.5
Unique and innovative
not good
Not bad. Held my attention. Can only give it 3.5 because it's not something I really see myself going back to.
Not bad new wave fare. 3.5 because I'm not sure it has high relistenability for me
I didn't find it very interesting
An all-time classic.
