1001 Albums Summary

-nick drake, arthur verocai, neil young, astral weeks -"Dreams by the Sea" is a funky hit, "Gentle Blues" has a cool synthy sound at the end -wait he was friends with nick drake and dedicated it to him this is a nice fine album but for this sound I would probably go to everyone listed above before I go to this again

-"headmaster ritual" rocks, this is known already - i never noticed how 80's the bass and drum sound bc i was only listening to marr -"barbarism" and "meat is murder" are interesting songs,,, this album is good ok fine. its the smiths rockabilly in a good way, but still not that good.

-i hear "last nite" in more than just american girl -strangered in the night sounds like stuck in the middle w u -i see why american girl is the hit overall not my cup of tea

-jazz. -snl-ass jazz. -i will never listen to this again.

-beatles were better -production feels sloppier than Rubber Soul/Revolver which were the same years -"going home" would probably be fun live but not sitting at a desk for 11 minutes

-I can hear the influence on other music, but this isn't really drawing me in -"talisman" is spy music -I don't really know when I would listen to this again -"Le Voyage de Penelope" was good

- this feels unfair -"pieces of what" sounds like mick jagger -realizing I do not know what songs 6-10 sound like on this album - i'm grabbing onto the second half less, its like congratulations

- this is good - yes - damn, cool !! - I listened to this 3 times in a row. Every time I found a new song to be my favorite. -another time the next day

- this is ok - yeah this is alright

- i listened to this last summer mowing the lawn, and like it a lot - "inner flight" could go - there are some really great songs and some really boring ones ("i'm coming down") - straight up skipped through the last two songs - just listen to like the first 2 or 3 and then that can be it.

- yeah this is cool - where did music for airports come from - halfway through its more okay than cool - song 7: this could be over I think, i'm zoned out -skipped through the last 3, last one sounds ok - imagine how much better this list would have been if it was limited to 1 album per artist

- yeah this is alright - I hear some Pixies in here, maybe they influenced the pixies - "Run Down" harmonica is like King Giz - not bad overall

- ok this is nice - everything everything but better songwriting maybe? - "grounds for divorce" and "audience with the pope" are a bit too late 00s alt radio rock - lots of cool sounds but idk how much i LOVE it - yeah second half zzz still cool sounds tho

- now this, i have heard - the riff in the word is niiiiiiice

- yeah this is nice

- freedom! freedom! freedom! freedom! - first album on returning - i have to rate these on my personal enjoyment, so this one won't do too well - sounds dated to me, and too ballad-y every single song - ultimately there are some cool sounds on here but it's not something I'll likely return to

- this was way cooler than i expected - was expecting george michael and got talking heads - wow
