Pretty 50/50 mix on mood; but, generally this album's good for a good cry. I skipped a few songs but also favorited a few. Great use of minimalism and sparse songwriting. Could be a David Lynch soundtrack.

Sometimes a regular album sounds like a greatest hits record. Although this style is not really my cup of tea in general; but, it's hard to deny the appeal of "can't buy me love" and "Can't do that". Basically, any of the can't songs.
I liked this more than I thought I would. And by that, I mean, there was one song on this album I liked: "Atlantic City." That song's pretty good so I couldn't give this album a one. You saved this album Atlantic City. Nice work.
This was a hugely influential album for me and I listened to it well over 100 times; because I get like that when I love an album.
A mediocre album by a great band. Why is this album on the list? Are you assuming everyone has already heard their other albums? Then the reasoning would be "you've heard their other albums; so, go ahead and listen to this one". But, that's a big assumption. If you are reading this and are not familiar with LCD Soundsystem DO NOT listen to this album. Listen to their first one or "Sound of Silver".
There is some country music I like. Steve Earle pretty much typifies the kind of country I do not like.
I can't believe how good this album is. Total pioneers. I'm a kinks fan; but, never gave this albumn a go before. I'm so glad this is on the list.
Billy Corgan's voice is unpleasant to my ears. I probably would have enjoyed this album a lot more with a different singer.
JFC, I just listened to Smashing Pumpkins yesterday! This album is about 100 times better than that one. Somehow Corgan's voice works way better with these songs. They are harder hitting and are genuinely inspired. Especially, Cherub Rock which I love. But seriously, what kind of idiot thinks TWO smashing pumpkins alums need to be on a list of 1001 albums. They should have only included this one.
