Fear Of A Black Planet
Public Enemy
Public Enemy come out with a record that emphasised the mood of the time: anger. As many felt their world was under fire (and indeed it truly was for othres), Public Enemy guides you through the emotional rollercoaster in this time.
Strong themes of social justice exploring racial injustice, stereotyping, and feminism; this is a record that truly speaks it's mind.

Reminds me a bit of Blank Generation. Does punk have roots here?
Feels like safe psychedelic.
Not very remarkable on my end, but still an enjoyable listen.

The Sounds Of India
Ravi Shankar
Interesting look at a different music theory. Sounds of India has a fascinating relationship with rhythm that can be jarring for those accustomed to the western or African standards. Good stuff nonetheless!

For Your Pleasure
Roxy Music
I am not enjoying this album. Few good songs that aren't all to remarkable.
I am not enjoying this album. Even though there are glimpses of elements that might be worth a listen, such as the guitar on Grey Lagoons and In Every Home A Heartache, it isn't something I will be returning to.
The experimentation elements strike me as an interesting and unique signature; but not features that entice me to continue.
