Interesting album from a band and genre that I had never heard before. Sophisti-pop? Anyway, really smooth chord progressions and love the 80's love ballads. Singers voice really pleasant with unique jazz-pop sound. Favorite Tracks: Love is Here Where I Live, Oxford Street, Lonesome for a Place I Know
Soft, harmless pop, can see why Coldplay became so popular. Ear candy melodies but not much to return to. First half more sonically interesting. 6/10 Best Tracks: Don't Panic, Spies, High Speed

This is a complete personal opinion but I just did not vibe with this album. I understand the complexity of the musicianship but I prefer jazz to be a little higher-tempo. Easy listen but won't return most likely unless I need to background music to study to.
Being a big alternative rock guy I new coming in I would like this. Never listened to them again, but I was still a little underwhelmed. Some interesting ideas on the second half the album. Favorite Songs: Stop, Obvious, Then She Did
Classic. Garage rock revival that destroys with simple guitar and drums. Love this. Favorite Tracks: Fell in Love with a Girl, The Union Forever, Aluminum
Classic stuff. Not my favorite Metallica album but really enjoyed it.
