1001 Albums Summary

70s punk rock from New York. Not quite my tasty, but good, nevertheless!

First time listening properly to Pink Floyd. This is much more avant-garde than I expected. Not quite my style, but I can definitely see why this album is counted as one of the greats.

Bossa nova: Sinatra style. Chill music :)

I mean, Bowie’s an icon, but I don’t really want to listen to experimental pop/rock just for the sake of it.

Tik Tok. Omg. Whatever this is, I’m loving it. Folk punk is a vibe.

Liked Family Tree, maybe Love Dog as well (the vocals reminded me of Chris Martin)

What an interesting mix of genres. Metal, punk/grunge, I think, hip-hop... Surprising amount of hip-hop.

Come on, I already know I’m gonna give it a 5 :) They sound so much more like a folk rock band than they do now. Sparks kind of reminds me Elliott Smith.
