Power In Numbers
Jurassic 5Gosh what a boring album
Gosh what a boring album
No thanks, I can 100% say this will never get listened to again
Finally some good fucking music
I've never really listened to Hendrix beyond what you hear in movies/pop culture/the few songs that get radio airtime. Almost every track feels like it's about 4 hours long, some interesting musical progression, but largely it feels like a product of its time, maybe it's the Seinfeld effect in that I've heard so much of what Hendrix influenced, that this now doesn't fit where it should in the history of rock/music. I can understand the love people have for this, but maybe it's beyond my smooth monkey brain.
Feels like somewhere between 4 and 10 people randomly made noise and called it art. Did not enjoy at all.
I was pretty bored of the easy listening grunge this album presented, but it kicked into a more enjoyable tempo with Electioneering. oh no I spoke too soon easy listening grunge is back. The 2nd half of the album was more enjoyable than the first, maybe you just need to be in the right frame of mind for some of the softer spoken songs, but I think I prefer my anger to be a bit more upfront.
Starts strong with a classic banger, but then sort of tappers into being very forgettable
Liked the title track, everything else was eh
It was fine.
Is it controversial to say Hendrix isn't a great singer even if his guitar slaps?
Heroes is obviously an absolute classic banger, the rest of the songs were good, but the instrumental stuff lost me entirely.
Pretty great track list, but I did some reading on JLL, and oh boy I just don't know lmao
Not for me
no strong opinions from me
Once in a Lifetime saves this album from mediocrity
Maybe when it was new it was more impressive, but the whole thing blurs into a generic mess for me.
Maybe it was unique at the time, but now it's just generic 80s
Nope.
Fairly pleasant to listen too, even if not overly memorable. John Barleycorn was the standout track for me
It was fine.
I got bored towards the end and stopped listening, maybe I missed out on greatness but I doubt it
That sure was a rolling stones album, I only just listened to it and I can't remember a single track, but it was fine while it was on.
That sure was a beach boys album. Far too cheerful for me at the moment lol
Finally some good fucking music
Pretty enjoyable to listen to while listening, but now it's over I've already entirely forgotten it.
Scooby Snacks is a banger, the rest was fine, but I love that track so I'm giving a 4 anyway lol
The cadence and tone of this singers voice removed any possible enjoyment from this.
How good is tainted love though
Didn't care for it
Gosh what a boring album
No thanks, I can 100% say this will never get listened to again
Couple of great tracks, many very average ones.
Easy listening, but very forgettable
