Can't Buy A Thrill
Steely Dan“Do it again” is a classic track. The rest is sounds like any middle of the road pop from the 70s. Mostly likely used this album as a template.

Folksy. I’m not a fan of higher register female folk vocals. I skipped most of this album.
Good times roll is my favorite track from this album. My best friends girl, and Just what I needed are also outstanding tracks.
Classic Janis Joplin
Nothing particularly wrong with this album. No hits from this one, and it might be interesting to revisit if you are interested in early 80s electronicia. It’s a pass from me, there are far better songs in ABBAs catalogue.
There is no denying PJ Harvey’s talent, and this might well be her seminal album. I prefer “Stories from the city, stories from the sea” which is a natural progression from her music creation skill present on this album.
I’ll throw a couple of tracks into a blues or afternoon mix. Interesting song construction and melodies.
