Fantastic, like Wire but hookier. Love.

Loud! A bit like Tom Waits. Inventive, interesting, but probably wouldn’t stick it on for fun.

Unbelievable. Washer one of my favourites ever.

Surprised to actually quite enjoy this. Was expecting to hate it. Simple Man is a good tune, even if it does have a bit of a Red Hot Chilli Peppers vibe. Some of the songs are too long though.

Really, really loved this. Had heard Pretty Green, Start! and That's Entertainment before but not the rest of this record. Never realised they'd gone quite as post-punky as this. Prefer it to the pure mod stuff.
