this is one of the 1001 albums i must listen to before i die? fuck me ragged. this is a total piece of overblown shit, self indulgence at it's finest. why does this band have so many fans? it's absolute dogshit. half of them aren't even songs they're just rambling jam sessions. 'the gnome' is like someone asked the kinks to pretend to be late-beatles and 'don't try very hard'. fuck off pink floyd! FUCK OFF

good but not great, some of the tunes are filler, but the good tunes (roadhouse blues, you make me real and peace frog) are really well made and stand the test of time. 7/10

a timeless classic of heavy rock/metal. didn't need to listen to it as i already love it, but enjoyed listening anyway :) hallowed be thy name is one of the best heavy rock songs of all time

I really like the Chats, and it's clear that they are heavily inspired by Black Flag - a band who i was familiar with, but have never listened to this album. I will definitely listen to it again though as it's really good!
