T. RexTotally unfamiliar with this band. Album extremely listenable. I’m really impressed with this. Like the Kansas City reference in Baby Boomerang.

I can see why this was a huge thing.
This kind of noise rock not my cup of tea, but these guys not bad. “2 Towers” was the standout for me.
Dreary, medieval-tinged, late-aughts, hipster acoustic vibe
Adam Raised a Cain the highlight for me. Can’t get going with the overall working man ethos.
Definitive mid-80s hip hop beats. Appreciate what it laid the foundation for more than I actually really dig the music.
So funny that this music was completely scandalous when it came out. I find that I like the ballads more than the rock n roll numbers.
This where “Clapton is God” originated from. “All Your Love” my favorite track.

This album has a lot of nostalgia for me, which is interesting since I never owned it. Buying a double disc like this was like $33 in 1995! But despite never actually having the album, I know it well. It brought back a lot of surprisingly positive vibes from my 6th and 7th grade years. The thing is that I couldn’t make it through the album listening now. Just too long. The Spotify “Deluxe” version seemed to have 50 tracks. “Thirty Three” was the standout in what I listened to.
So British. This not doing anything for me aside from a guitar solo or two at the end of the album.
I can see why this was a huge thing.
I have this on vinyl from my dad’s old records, which is pretty awesome. The music here is just ok for me. I prefer more straight forward bop from Miles Davis. I get why this is a big deal. I like the crunchy electric guitar on some of the tracks.
Am glad I revisited this. There are tracks on here that I remember well and fondly, specifically Hell Is around the Corner and Aftermath. Pretty sure those are ones I got off of Napster that I put in chill out mix CDs as I don’t believe I had this album in full.
What an album. Evil Empire was a bigger deal for me personally. But this can’t be anything but 5 stars based on how it impacted me and how it still holds up.

I’m more familiar with Low End Theory. That album better than this on first listen.
I’ve come around a bit in Coldplay after writing them off at the time this came out. Not something I ever seek out, but there’s decent stuff here.
Only thing I knew about this band is that they were at Woodstock. Decently enjoyed this album.
Pretty weird stuff
Lots of cool moments on the album foreshadowing bigger things to come. Found myself digging the guitar work multiple times.
Such 90s sound. Actually kind of goofy at times.
