I love the dark, grimey sound across this record. It might not be my favorite Wu album, but it's definitely up there.
Unarguably important and influenial, but by today's standards, quite outdated rock-inspired hip-hop. Was worth a listen, but I didn't enjoy it as much as their debut.
Great album with an incredible, dark atmosphere. I actually liked it a lot more than I used to.
Not nearly as outdated as I expected it to be based on my experience with other Public Enemy albums. This one's awesome and everybody's at the top of their game here. Severely underrated in Public Enemy's catalog.
Really nice, smooth album. I enjoyed it.
This album definitely grew on me as it went on. The songs do run a bit long for no good reason, but overall this album was a very fun listen.
Honestly I just can't get into this album at all
Solid east coast classic, unique beats and flows across the whole album. Took me a second to get into it but once I did I started loving it.
Always been a good album, but sadly it's not one of my favorites anymore. I feel like I've grown out of it a lot overtime. It's still got great performances across the record however.
Never been the biggest Common fan, but this album is fantastic. Everything from the production to the rapping is some of Common's best work
Really unique and entertaining album by some fun personalities. The sampling here is unlike anything we'll ever see again because of the time period and it's a cool time capsule to hear.
Pleasant surprise seeing as I've never heard of this album before and the only track I knew was Back To Life. Really loved listening to this album
Not quite Midnight Marauders but still excellent jazz rap
