1001 Albums Summary

Just not my kind of thing.

An absolute class in Thrash Metal. There's honestly nothing new I can add to this album's discussion, but I'll try anyways. The overall sound is great, but Dave's singing might not be for everyone, I'm honestly inbetween liking Mustaine's vocals or not, since I don't dislike them but feel like Metallica's James Hetfield can give his songs the vocals they deserve, especially in the detour from thrash they were doing around this time (Load and Reload) and definitely in the actual thrash albums like Master Of Puppets, Ride The Lightning and my favourite: 2008's Death Magnetic. I honestly haven't been able to listen to any Anthrax or Slayer yet, so I can't compare the stuff that they were releasing at the time to this, but overall even if the output from those bands just happened to be better at the time, this is still definitely worth a listen if you enjoy Thrash. Dawn Patrol sucks ass though, jeez Dave stick to high lyrics

Didn't really pay much attention to it as I was listening. Decent enough.

If I didn't get the Radiohead comparisons then, I sure do now. Good album.

You've definitely heard Blitzkrieg Bop before. Even if you think you haven't, there is a 100 percent chance you have. The song isn't even that good, why do so many people use it!? The rest of the album is just really boring. It's vanilla ice cream served at a restaurant after a decently good dinner with your parents, it's the most basic Punk Rock you can get. Also the vocalist sucks ass lmao
