I’m an unsophisticated dweeb who doesn’t know how to appreciate jazz. I can acknowledge that this is a great work of music, but did it resonate personally? No. If I picked a favorite in the album, it would be the last song. Idk what to rate this…do I rate on enjoyment or objective recognition of skill….I’ll rate on enjoyment, I guess…

LOVED it

I mean I get why this was revolutionary for its time but it’s not an album I’m gonna pick up on my own or incorporate into any playlists. Blue Suede Shoes and Blue Moon are classics, but when I listen to Elvis (and I do love me some Elvis), I go for other albums lol. I’m gonna rate it for my experience

This was already an album I quite enjoy :) So I’ll go ahead and give it a 4

Not my cup of tea in any sense.

I’ve loved this album since I was a small child. My mom used to play it on road-trips. Automatic 5 stars lol, this was so refreshing to re-listen to

This album was pretty dumb

I mean, whatever. I feel like this album would be playing at an outdoor skating rink in NYC. It’s got an atmosphere and that’s about all it’s got for me.
