Here's Little Richard
Little RichardSome undeniable bangers but not enough variety across the album
Some undeniable bangers but not enough variety across the album
Possibly worth 5 stars with a few more listens but great from start to finish
Badly dated humour detracts from solid rapping and production
The pixies at their best
Begins well but songs soon become fairly tepid
Gloomy and dirgey, maybe a bit dark for a summer's day
Peak Kanye West never better but could possibly have been slightly shorter
Some good tracks but some slower ones drag
Sounds a bit like Bob Dylan in places but not as interesting
Great power pop, unmistakably produced by Jon Brion
Some good stuff if a little overly shouty for a full album
Don't dislike it but certainly need to be in the right mood to fully enjoy
So many ideas crammed into the whole thing, influenced such a wide variety of artists in the following years it's hard to listen back and feel quite how much of an impact it would go on to have
Feels slightly dated now but still a great album
Yeehaw! 3 stars
