Jazzy(?) and fun. Upbeat and feels like a good album to play in the background while cooking with my mum
Really like it- kinda chill and grungy? Think it’s one I need to spend more time with to really catch the brilliance
Wow I love it. Feels a little Talking Heads. The first 30 seconds or so faked me out at first but wow. Already on my second round, it’s so good.
Not my taste, too techno with not enough lyrics. It’s good though
I think Beach Boys is a little too saccharine and un-ironic for me. Didn’t make it through the album. Had to go listen to The Else by TMBG instead. I’ll try and give it another shot sometime when I’m in a more generous headspace.
I love the intro in the middle and the bits of dissonance and unexpected winks spaced throughout. Also good sound variety from song to song. Didn’t get through the whole thing but I can hear the shades of brilliance in it.
