...And Justice For All by Metallica
Aug 20 2022

I don’t see why I needed to listen to this before I died. I can appreciate hard rock / metal / whatever you want to define this album as. But I felt like it all kind of blended together and was just ok. Not bad music, that’s for sure. But nothing really struck me about it.

Live! by Fela Kuti
Aug 21 2022

3/5 Fun live album, but drew on pretty long. Jams were nice but didn't seem to really go anywhere.

The ArchAndroid by Janelle Monáe
Aug 22 2022

3/5 Pretty good, i enjoyed listening to it and the nice mix of hip-hop, soul and funk.

Blur by Blur
Aug 23 2022

3/5 Fit the classic 90s acoustic rock vibe for me. Pretty good, I had no idea that Song 2 was from these guys.

Like A Prayer by Madonna
Aug 24 2022

3/5 Pretty good. Some good beats and hooks, but I wasn’t crazy in love with it or anything.

461 Ocean Boulevard by Eric Clapton
Aug 25 2022

4/5 Good classic album that felt surprisingly country / folky for what I was expecting from the clap man. Had me nodding my head and moving my feet throughout.

Dummy by Portishead
Aug 26 2022

3/5 I really enjoyed the first few songs on the album, it got off to a great start and then felt like it didn’t really go anywhere after that.

Debut by Björk
Aug 27 2022

3/5 This was an interesting album. Fun to listen to, seemed very dancy. Was also oddly sexual through the second half.

Superfuzz Bigmuff by Mudhoney
Aug 28 2022

2/5 Meh. There are grunge albums I like, but this isn’t one of em. Very repetitive. Not very creative. Lyrics were bland.

Is This It by The Strokes
Aug 29 2022

4/5 Great album. Thoroughly enjoyed it and it’s vibe. This was the first one of these I would say I needed to listen to before I died.

Frank by Amy Winehouse
Aug 30 2022

4/5 Good jazz / funk album that I enjoyed a lot. She has a great voice and the vulnerability she puts on display throughout the album makes it feel very from the heart.

Lady In Satin by Billie Holiday
Sep 01 2022

1/5 Not my thing, put me to sleep.

Tonight's The Night by Neil Young
Sep 02 2022

4/5 Great album. Good combo of folk / country / story-telling / jam that really fits well in that space.

Time Out by The Dave Brubeck Quartet
Sep 03 2022

3/5 Good fun jazz album. Not my favorite tho

Young Americans by David Bowie

2/5 This ones ok, didn't hit the mark for me tho sadly, was missing something.

The Queen Is Dead by The Smiths
Sep 10 2022

2/5 Nothing really exciting about the album IMO. It was ok but nothing crazy.

Life Thru A Lens by Robbie Williams
Sep 11 2022

3/5 Pretty good. Nothing amazing but enjoyed it.

The Healer by John Lee Hooker
Sep 13 2022

3/5 Cool blues album, but kinda dragged and was a little empty feeling in parts. Not bad by any means, just not that good.

The Hour Of Bewilderbeast by Badly Drawn Boy
Sep 15 2022

4/5 Pretty good album. Kinda weird and quirky. Not the greatest but pretty good.

Run-D.M.C. by Run-D.M.C.
Sep 17 2022

3/5 definitely felt the age of the album. Also can tell the influence it had on the Beastie Boys. Liked parts of it, as a whole its fine.
