São Paulo Confessions
SubaSamba-type music - took me back to Rio. Great music for either working to or chilling on the lanai.

nice chill background music
Great for background listening while working. Even though it has words, they're not super clear so it blends into the background easy. Haven't heard Jimi Hendrix in a long time! Nice change.
Love this! Although more for notorious reasons...it was 1 of the first 2 CDs I received as a Christmas gift from mom & dad in high school. They gifted me and Brianne a disc-man and 2 CDs (this one and Blink 182) that we were to share. For some reason, I loved the song Basketcase haha. Brings back good memories from that time.
Angry girl punk music lol! I listened to this in the morning when I started work - interesting way to start the day. But the whole album is only 38 min so listened to the entire thaang (that's how albums were in the 90s!). Haven't listened to Courtney Love much so this was a good exposure to her. I wouldn't choose this type of music to work to, but it would be perfect for tasks like cleaning the apartment or packing for a trip - something that would normally be tiring but this music would keep me awake. I actually liked a lot of the music that followed this album (in Spotify, which selected music similar to Hole) - No Doubt, Garbage, Nirvana...
Wow blast from the past…this one was fun to listen to as I was unpacking boxes and at my desk. Good upbeat rhythm to keep the energy going. Probably couldn’t listen to while working/reading, but great for doing mindless work.
Love this album - brings back good memories.
I didn't realize I knew so many songs by CCR - I like them! This is a nice album to have on while working, driving, doing house work. Like their style, brings me back to the 80s.
Brought me back to high school days! I only knew their more famous hits (e.g., Bitter Sweet Symphony) but have never listened to one of their albums before. It was good- they have a U2-type sound. Easy music to work to. There's a "hidden track" 13 min into the last song on the album- not worth waiting for. It's 2 min filled with psychedelic music with something that sounds like either a crying baby or cat in heat...Just stick to the original tracks on the album.
Enjoyed this one! It's a cross between folk and classical guitar. Easy listening - reminds me of a guy we once saw playing a guitar in the park in San Francisco. Great for working to!

Good name for the album - seemed like far-out music. Not interested though...
I liked this! Thought it was going to be in Japanese but it wasn't. Apparently Yoshimi was a girl he was in love with...anyway, nice upbeat tempo. Not sure what I'd categorize this type of music as...Moldy Peaches meets Mumford & Sons? It seems like music that would be on the soundtrack of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World or Juno.
Kinda R&B/Alicia Keys/India Arie type of a sound. Don't hear this type of music much these days (sounded more like late 1990s), so it was a refreshing change from the typical alternative tunes these days.
