WHOA what the heck was that?
If I had to choose one word for "Green Onions", it would be GROOVY. This is a great album to have in the background as you're doing something else. It's a nice backbeat for your day. I found myself nodding along to songs as I was working away my laptop. It was a pleasant work companion. I'll be putting that in my playlist.
There was certainly a lot of energy in this performance, but I have never been a fan of Jerry Lee Lewis’ music and I still am not a fan. Meh.
Definitely worthy of being on this list. Classic songs by great artists delivered with that signature Spector sound. Recommended.
You can't go wrong with an album that leads with "Sympathy For The Devil". This is a jangly, country-flavoured album that shows a side of the Rolling Stones that is absent in their later, more commercial albums.
I didn't hate it... but I don't like it. Electronica is not my kind of music. It might be good for exercising to. "Waters of Nazareth" has a nice uptempo beat.
A classic album!
I'm not a Mariah Carey fan by any means, but this was a pleasant album to have in the background. There's no question that she has talent and it shows on this album.
It has a good vibe. I found it good as background noise.
She's Fresh - it's a bop! It's Nasty - I'm sorry but this reminded me of Wham Rap! It could be because I watched the extremely cheesy video. Scorpio - I like the beat, and the computerized voice is very 1982! It's a Shame - This is groovy... nice vibe. Dreamin' - Sent out to Stevie Wonder at the beginning of the song, and throughout the song.. it definitely has that Wonder-ful feel to it. You Are - It started as a really nice love song, then took a hard turn to a spoken word religious song. The Message - The title song - and the only one I've heard before. A socially conscious straight up rap song with a great beat. The lyrics are more than a little homophobic, though. "Don't push me 'cause I'm close to the edge"
Always a classic.
I liked it more than I thought I would!
A tour de force.
A great album of covers (mostly) by a distinctive voice.
Surprisingly good
An excellent album
Definitely British synthpop!

I was reminded how great a songwriter Leonard Cohen was, and how terrible a singer he was. 5/5
Raw talent on display. Some of the songs are very hokey by today's standards but Elvis' voice carries the day.
NOT my kind of music.
Classic Alice Cooper.
Excellent work.
Absolutely hated it.
I liked that a lot more than the Marshall Mathers LP! Good tunes and raw emotion.
I had no idea what to expect... I was pleasantly surprised.
Not a fan.
Groovy but too much talking
What can you say about Rumours that hasn't already been said? This is definitely one of my top 10 favourite albums.
Power pop? It’s hard to define.
A banger!
I liked this a lot more than I thought I would.
I liked this album! I'd never heard of Grant Lee Buffalo before. They sound like a mix of older Neil Young with a little Robbie Robertson in there.
Trippy!
