Highlight: Don't Come Home A Drinkin' (With Lovin' On Your Mind). The rest is rather unmemorable.
3.5/5
The Beatles undeniably influenced popular music, I won’t butt heads with that. Still and all, this album is just dullish. 30 minutes of similar-sounding tracks, both instrumentally and lyrically. Highlight: Till There Was You
Highlights: Hello, Roll with It, Don't Look Back in Anger, Cast No Shadow
Highlights: Chemtrails Over The Country Club, Tulsa Jesus Freak
Timeless album. It is purely filled with intimacy, love, happiness and tremendous groove. Whether you want to dance or make love - just pick this record and play it loud.
Highlights: Hey Hey, my my (into the black) Welfare mothers
Even though I'm not a big fan of country music, I would say this record has something magical in it. The "American roots" mood really got me and I almost felt as I was in Memphis while listening to this album. Highlights: I've Got a Tiger By the Tail, Trouble and Me, Memphis
Highlights: Rock'n'Roll Star, Live Forever, Columbia, Slide Away
I’m positively surprised, for real. 5/5. Highlight: The Age of The Understatement
Highlights: Sit Down. Stand Up, Sail To The Moon, Where I End You Begin, A Punch Up at a Wedding, A Wolf At the Door
Nothing to write home about. Just typical 70s rock.
4,5/5 Highlights: Dark Fantasy, Gorgeous, All Of The Lights, Runaway
Soothing vocals mixed with catchy, way-out bass lines. That said, I have to admit that it is quite hard to listen to "Drunk" from start to finish at one blow. Although I'm a fan of Thundercat music, I think this album could have been shorter because after 20-30 minutes it gets way too repetitious. Highlights: Jethro, Them Changes
Highlight: Don't Come Home A Drinkin' (With Lovin' On Your Mind). The rest is rather unmemorable.
It was the very first time I have listened to LCD sound system and I must admit it was pure fun. The album is somehow hilarious in its sound (I can't really explain why) and has a pretty nostalgic mood. And last but not least, the first song is perfect to do the robot dance. Highlights: Get Innocuous!, All My Friends
Highlight: Wheels Of Confusion/The Straightener
