1984 by Van Halen
Jan 03 2023

Bro is a wizard with the guitar how does he do these things

From Elvis In Memphis by Elvis Presley
Jan 06 2023

I was never a huge fan of Elvis’ voice it’s so dramatic but some of these songs it works really well.

Aladdin Sane by David Bowie
Jan 09 2023

David Bowie is just so good

Abbey Road by Beatles
Jan 11 2023

So many classics. Paul McCartney’s songwriting skills are so evident in the second half of the album I love how each song flows into the next. Hot take tho not top 3 in their discography 🫢

Let It Be by The Replacements
Jan 12 2023

Not familiar with the replacements at all, but I feel like this album was a good introduction. Solid 80s rock with lyrics that in some ways feel a little ahead of their time especially on songs like androgynous and sixteen blue.

Private Dancer by Tina Turner
Jan 13 2023

very solid introduction to her music for me. such a powerful singer she’s very versatile.

Jan 16 2023

Everything from Curtis Mayfield I love and this album just makes me love him more. I was first introduced to him with Superfly (highly recommend listening) so this is just more of a reason for me to like him.

Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits
Jan 17 2023

I feel like this album isn’t very cohesive, with none of the songs matching the title and sonically and lyrically having no connection. The singers voice lowkey got on my nerves a little bit and hearing him drop the f slur 3 times in one song didn’t help lol.

Jan 18 2023

For a live album their energy is absolutely insane. I’ve always enjoyed Motörhead and the crazy hard rock they make. Tbf a lot of their songs sound relatively similar but if you just want something to rock out to you can’t go wrong w them. Also as a bass player Lemmy is just so fuckin cool.

Who's Next by The Who
Jan 19 2023

The scream on won’t get fooled again alone makes this album 5 stars. Fr tho this is The Who at their best. No misses whatsoever.

Machine Gun Etiquette by The Damned
Jan 24 2023

I’m not a huge punk rock fan but some of these songs are pretty fun

Clube Da Esquina by Milton Nascimento
Jan 30 2023

Really dug the vibe of this album. Although I didn’t know what they were saying the instrumentation was fantastic. Fun stuff!

Boston by Boston
Jan 31 2023

So many classics on here. Very talented band for sure!

Figure 8 by Elliott Smith
Feb 03 2023

Phenomenal album

The Queen Is Dead by The Smiths
Feb 06 2023

Classic album. Classic songs. Can’t go wrong with the smiths

Cafe Bleu by The Style Council
Feb 16 2023

Really dug this one I’m definitely gonna need to listen more to appreciate it fully

Disraeli Gears by Cream
Feb 17 2023

Another classic album. These guys really made the blueprint for psychedelic rock in the 60s and 70s

Hunky Dory by David Bowie
Feb 20 2023

David Bowie is an absolute genius. This whole album is a masterpiece front to back. Never gets old.

Music in Exile by Songhoy Blues
Feb 27 2023

very cool. great expansion of my musical tastes
