I've never listened to blur so to me it really feels like proto-Gorillaz. Feels relatively generic. Albarn's vocals were never my favorite part of Gorillaz and this album has a much heavier focus on them than any Gorillaz album. I'm also not a super big fan of this genre of rock. Could be worse. I could actively hate listening to it. But I wouldn't be the one to put this on given the choice.
