The birth of lo-fi?

I love David Bowie, but I have to admit I don't care for much of this album. The title track is the only one I actually recognize and I think there's a reason for that. The rest of it is kind of jangly and disjointed, probably like the rest of his life at that time. Still, 3 stars because Bowie and one very good song.

Didn't make it all the way through the album because the tracks were long and repetitive. Still good to experience a different time and place in music.

A difficult but artful album.

I'm not afraid to lose cool-points. I'll admit it. I don't like Sonic Youth. It's jangly and annoying and I couldn't even make it through a 3rd song.
