I didn't manage to listen to all the songs...
BUT it was def good vibes, love the harmonica, very autumn
I didn't really like a Man Needs a Maid tho- that one was odd. The music was lovely but you could barely hear his voice over it. All in all it was kinda jarring.
First of all- who puts 17 songs in one album? That's TOO MANY
Actually tho I did like this album, it seemed like the music you'd hear playing live from a gazebo in the middle of a farmers market on a summer afternoon.
My favorite songs were Hey Joe and The Wind Cries Mary. I didn't really catch the lyrics for most of the songs in this album but these two stood out to me.
I would say tho that the instrumental parts went on too long, and I wish there was more singing.
But very good vibes, added a lot to my Farmers Market playlist. :)
I feel like I just listened to 10 of the same song
It had lovely vibes, very chill and laid back, and I would be satisfied to hear this playing as background music at a beach party.
But it was ALLLL the same
A few songs had very deep messages but you could easily have put all the messages into one or two songs.
I liked this album, but it got too repetitive and I was tempted to skip through it.
Noiceπ
A few songs were a bit too aggressive for my taste but all in all, very good classic vibes. I feel like I might've recognized a song or two.
I liked several songs, but my fave was We're going to be friends. It was very simple and wholesome.
Also the Hard to be a gentleman(I may have gotten the name wrong) song was funny XD
I'm ANNOYED
I really loved the sound of the music, and the guy's voice, but EVERY SONG WAS JUST THE SAME LINE REPEATED 100 TIMES
For several of the songs, I listened to half and then skipped to the next song.
I did like Why Does my Heart Feel So Bad, tho. South side gets an honorable mention as well as Natural Blues.
I just feel like the beginning of every song had so much potential and then just let me down. π
But some songs were too good for me to give this 3 stars so it gets 4
Not my typical style but I could appreciate it to a certain extent
I didn't think I was gonna make it through but it started growing on me and I ended up listening to it all
Sometimes it's fun to listen to a little bit on insane music π
This was very peaceful and relaxing but why is it an album I need to hear before I die?π
I listened to it while studying, which was pleasant, but nothing special.
Apparently it's like the first ambient music album tho so props for that I guess.
Now that I think of it, I actually got a lot done while listening to this, so it def made me focus well.
I would've liked some creativity in the title choices tho...πΆ
Did I listen to this album on repeat all Sunday afternoon?
Yes. Yes I did.
I felt like I wanted to host a barn dance and just loop this album the entire time
I had no idea Elvis's old songs were this good
I made myself dizzy dancing to some of these absolute bangers
My fave was one of the slow ones tho- I love you just because β‘
Loved Leonard's voice, it's very calming
Some songs almost had a lullaby vibe
I liked this album except for Diamonds in the Mine
I listened hard to the lyrics because they seemed really interesting, but I couldn't really figure out the meaning of most of them π
Also the songs were just tooooo long but since they were good I'll forgive it
I just didn't vibe with this
Idk why man
Just not my style I guess
π€·ββοΈ
Bootiful
Very relaxing
I also loved her voice, and her range was really impressive
Fave song would be Never is a Promise, it was just a gorgeous song
Decent but not quite my taste
It was a little too aggressive for me, and I'm not a huge fan of the style with all those random noises thrown in.
But parts of it I did like- and my favorite song was probably Televators
Looooove the Beatles <333
I do like some of their other albums more than this one tho
I liked the theme of a show/circus running pretty consistently through the whole album
Good vibes but nothing really stuck out to me
I definitely vibed with this one. I think my fave song was young americans...?
Yeah ummmm I didn't make it past the first song
Too much cursing lol
Highkey gave me the heebie jeebies. I couldn't get all the way through any of the songs cuz to me they just sounded so creepy... also kinda freaked me out since he died days after releasing it.
But he was a legend, and I appreciate this album as his final word of sorts.
I GOT SOME GROCERIES
SOME PEANUT BUTTER
I liked this album
Def vibed with it
Especially the above lyrics and also "I've changed my hairstyle so many times now I don't know what I look like"
It was just generally fun to listen to
ALLL THE LEAVESSS ARE BROWNNN
AND THE SKYYY IS GRAYYYY
I love that song so much and I had no idea it was in this album
So that was a pleasant surprise hehe
Also Monday Monday was really relatable, and I loved how soft I Got a Feelin was.
The whole album was generally great and I rly enjoyed listening to it
