Blonde On Blonde by Bob Dylan

I'm eating this before I even finish the album. This is dreadful. I thought it was annoying enough suffering through Elvis' drawl on the previous album, but this was much worse. It pains me to listen through. If I wanted to listen to a Muppet I would watch something from Jim Henson. This is bad. Also, I'm usually a fan of the harmonica, but there's many moments on this album that it seems to irritate me to no end.

Let It Bleed by The Rolling Stones
Apr 20 2023

I have never been a huge fan of The Rolling Stones, but going through this album was a pleasant experience. A couple of classics on this album that are timeless. I think there were only one or two songs I didn't love, but by no means were they bad. The bluesy and at times country feel of this album really pulled me in. Stellar guitar tones and Mick Jagger's voice is phenomenal.

The Trinity Session by Cowboy Junkies
Apr 21 2023

Honestly, not an album I could really enjoy. Vocals were beautiful and there is some great musicianship, but overall it feel flat. It was much too slow, and not enough variation between songs for such a slow album. Some of the mixing wasn't to my taste, specifically one song where the harmonica came in way to hot with no tamed high end and I had to pull my headphones off due to the shrill sound.

Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Apr 24 2023

Neil Young clearly has talent, but there wasn't too much stand out on the album. It was good, and pleasurable to listen to, but nothing jumped out at me in any particular way.

Highway to Hell by AC/DC
Apr 25 2023

A classic album. AC/DC always brings such good energy. Just straight up killer rock music.

Parklife by Blur
Apr 26 2023

Was pleasantly surprised with this album. Britpop isn't usually my thing, and I've never cared much for Blur, but listening to this album left me in a good mood. It was fun and quite entertaining.

The Suburbs by Arcade Fire
Apr 27 2023

Average. Didn't grab my attention much and felt like casual background music. Not my thing.
