Holy cow, so many big name songs. Def in the "you have your whole life to write your first album" category. A lot of range too, not just riff-rock.

Pornography by The Cure
May 18 2023

Some cool parts, but for the most part nothing caught my attention and the album just droned on

In Rainbows by Radiohead
May 19 2023

The first side feels like a trance, in a good way. Still think it is one of the best of its decade.

At San Quentin by Johnny Cash
May 23 2023

Better quality than I assumed going in and his stage presence is out of this world. First Cash album front-to-back for me - had such a good time that I went back and listened again.

White Blood Cells by The White Stripes
May 24 2023

The whole album has a pretty timeless feel and there wasn't as much riff rock as I anticipated. Would have been a 4, but the back half kinda drones on. Probably could have been 4 songs shorter.

Teenage Head by Flamin' Groovies
May 25 2023

A little George Thorogood, Exile on Main Street, Elvis Costello, but ahead of all of them. A lot of range, but mostly in the boogie rock pocket. Probably could have cut a few tracks off this one. Wouldn't choose to listen again, but wouldn't complain if someone else put it on.

Fragile by Yes
May 26 2023

Amazing album through and through and they managed to fit more than 4 songs on this one!
