1001 Albums Summary

Liked most of the songs, and recognised some because mum likes her

Didn’t like most songs, as not into that genre. Sounds similar to Florence and the Machine. When mixes started replaying I thought I liked it since I recognised it (Spellbound / Arabian Nights).

Recognised Papa Was a Rollin’ Stone and The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face. Liked most of them, and think my dad likes some of these.

Thought I didn’t like it as it sounded too theatrical until it got to Grounds for Divorce, then liked that, An Audience With The Pope, and following songs. Would listen to again. Recognised One Day Like This.

Reminded me of Elvis, then saw in Wiki that Elvis was inspired by him. Was ok but not a genre I usually listen to and wouldn’t go out of my way to hear again.

Recognised Do You Love Me (The Contours) and Have Love Will Travel. Sound was a bit too muffled/staticky.

Interesting, but a bit weird to listen to normally (especially Ancestors).

Reminded me of the Beatles, good but not a genre I am into.

Liked Candle In The Wind, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, This Song Has No Title, I’ve Seen That Movie Too, Sweet Painted Lady, and the majority on the album. Almost a 5.

Liked the instruments in some but not the voice in any, sounded out of tune. Here was ok.

They were ok and catchy but not the genre I like listening to.

Liked most, already liked Sara and Sisters of the Moon, recognised Tusk, liked Beautiful Child. Some songs didn’t flow well together in the album. Between 4 and 5.

Most were ok and liked some, would maybe listen to some again. Weren’t any I disliked.

Relaxing nostalgic summer vibes. Liked Swim and most the others were ok too.

Liked Long Promised Road and Disney Girls, rest were ok too. Liked concept/lyrics of A Day In The Life Of A Tree. Almost a 4.

Didn’t like an had to skip a lot, only God Knows Why was ok if wasn’t so auto-tuned. Black Chick White Guy was ok.

They were all enjoyable but nothing really stood out particularly. I liked the genre and instrumentals. Might need to listen again and pay more attention.
