Beautiful, delicate tunes.
Nice texts over a beautiful score makes for an overall very touching listening experience. Still I have to admit that at times I felt I missed a bit more of a punch or kick in the album’s composition.
Great album with energetic tunes and some balads whose variety and quality will keep you engaged throughout. Truly a timeless classic!
Starts with uncomplicated, dreamy tunes. Musically more interesting than textually. Some songs are teetering on the overtly melodramatic, giving off teenager vibes (shelter). Not making a lasting impression.
Energising tunes accompanied by interesting lyrics. Fun music whilst dancing, cooking or cleaning.
Catchy tunes, but also not for close listening - lyrics are a bit stupid.
Amazing groves, fun vibes. This is really an album one should listen to in life!
Mixed bag of nice songs, cannot decide whether the lyrics are interesting or not. Might need another listen!
A classic album with some timeless tunes. Still, I was surprised with how underwhelming the overall listening experience was, especially when compared with my expectations.
Generally catchy and swinging but very dated musically, certainly not timeless. Socially engaged themes, but their lyrical execution teeters on the corny.
Great timeless rock album!
Nice sweet songs
Easy listening tunes accompanied by sharp satire. Not sure whether I am able to appreciate the latter fully, I imagine I’m missing a lot.
Cool 90s hip hop vibes, but it did not do as much for me as it would have done had I been ten years younger.
Classic soul album. Some nice tunes but for some reason I could not get into it. I’ll need to try again another day
Testifying that the early 2000s were not a great period in music history
Very 80s, but enjoyable
Nice mellow melancholy, but a bit repetitive
Fun old classic psychedelic rock
Sweet old soul for the soul, but not ad timeless as I was hoping for
Live in California once, but leave before it makes you soft
Fun album at the start but teeters out at the end
Funny, but not my jam
Interesting not not for me
