Radiohead meets David Bowie meets The Cure meets U2 meets Bruce Springsteen meets Florence and the Machine with a quick hop over to Dead Can Dance for a smidge.
None of it was horrible, only one stood out to me enough to save to my playlist: Keep the Car Running
Noisy, chaotic, some passionate vocals, some meh. Sometimes my toe tapped, sometimes it didnt.
Classics - You Don't Own Me, Mama Said, Will You Love Me Tomorrow, Wishin and Hopin
New to me that I really liked All Cried Out and Summer Is Over
The rest is what you'd expect... big horns, background women, the styling of the era.
I don't love Elton's music generally. Not horrible, but aside from a couple of songs, they're mostly meh to me.
These are all folksy EJ.
Very solid samba album. Some very romantic, some tropical. Little bossanova, little jazzy rock. If you like samba, you'll like this.
Aside from Sweet Emotions (my fave), the rest of the songs were fine. Standard Aerosmith - heavy guitar, busy.
I listened to the whole album thoroughly despite disliking all of it. I tried.
Just. Her voice mixes with a weird longing that my ears don't enjoy.
Not my favorite style. Of all the songs though, I did like Protect Ya Neck best. But mostly it was all meh.
Very standard 1980 new wave Duran Duran-ish. My fave was The Look of Love Pt 1
Solid Blondie rock album. New to me that I liked - 11:59
Solid Santana. A few solid classics. It's everything you think of when you hear "Santana" and makes me wanna road trip out west.
Solid disco music. A few classics and a few new ones for me that are fine.
Not my cup of tea at all.
Not my style and most songs sounded a lot alike.
I always thought The White Stripes were okay, but this listen through made me appreciate them a lot more, and I found a new-to-me song that I like a lot!
Meh. Not my jam.
It's alright. Very typical Eric Clapton and I'm not the biggest fan. My fave was probably Key to the Highway, but not all 9 mins of it, geeze. 🤣
Just not my jam.
