1001 Albums Summary

Really enjoyed Disorder and Day of the Lords. Got a bit bored during Candidate. The rest of the album become a blur other than She's Lost Control. Wild to think this came out in 79. My buddy said he'd prefer the album if it were instrumental and now I can't stop imagining that.

Listening to an entire Beastie Boys album in a row made me appreciate the differences in their songs. I really enjoyed this but I don't know when I'll next listen to them for fun.

The first song is 4 stars, passage to Bangkok is 2 and the rest is 3.

Generally enjoying myself. Stop me if youve heard this one before is a highlight.

Wish I could give it 3.5. I really enjoyed this. I'd never head them before but this album has the feeling that it was super influential to a bounce of mainstream rock.

A hard one to score. Generally I liked it but there's no songs that stand out as especially good so I've found myself giving it a three again.

Green Onions the song is fantastic - but a single song and collection of covers an album does not make. 1 star.

Incredible album. Has some fantastic songs and none of them are bad. Funny enough I knew the first song (Our Lips are Sealed) from a Hillary Duff song off a So Fresh CD. I think I might love Surf Rock?

Good enough but I got sick of it by the end so maybe too long. I found the songs to be a bit samey but I'm not really fan of this era of rap so that's kind of to be expected to the untrained ear.

Underwhelming compared to what I was expecting.

Obviously a lot of people love this but I do not.

Sorry, maybe I'm in a bad mood but this did nothing for me. I think I'm just not a Bowie fan.

I'd rather he just stuck to country. I didn't find this stuff to be very compelling.
