1001 Albums Summary

a good one! in particular, I like crawling king snake. its rhythm is fun. riders on the storm is great as well. love the sound of rain and thunderstorms blending with melody. -S I was familiar with riders on the storm since need for speed underground 2, because of the snoop dogg remix. I also heard L.A. woman before. Even though I kinda like these two songs, I wouldn't listen to any of the other ones again since they didn't catch my attention. I know that they had a big influence in the rock scene but for modern Standards I just felt a little underwhelmed and experimental. I think I even liked their debut album "the doors" more. But still a good listen. -A

Already liked a few songs from this. Like a mix of nostalgic sounds and uplifting beats in the album. On top of that, 1991 is special ✨ -S I kinda like the castles made of sand song, which was basically the only song i didn't know from the album. Overall really great songs on the album. -A

Where is my mind? and Cactus are ok. Don't like the others. Too chaotic for my taste and the vocals are not my cup of tea. Rating: 1 -S I liked 2 songs of the album but its very inconsistent and sometimes too experimental. -A

It's easy to listen. It feels like a summer night. Expecting to fly is sad but beautiful. The calmness of sad memory feels nice as well. 3/5 -S Loved it, ill give it 4 stars. -A

Feels like the whole album is one or a couple of songs. A few songs (mostly popular ones) are ok to listen but listening to the whole album was not too easy. 2.5/5 -S didnt like it -A
