Mothership Connection by Parliament
Sep 25 2023

Good fun. P-funk and Give up the Funk were great. Kind of the same throughout, but groovy and fun. More of a chill-groove album than anything. Gotta love the lollipop man.

Beggars Banquet by The Rolling Stones
Sep 26 2023

Fine album. Great singles, kind of meh filler throughout. Sympathy for the devil, oh doctor, and street fighting man were my favs. Aside from that it feels a bit like a standard Rolling Stones mid-tier album. Solid, good, enjoyable, but nothing really particularly special.

Ágætis Byrjun by Sigur Rós
Sep 27 2023

Great album. Beautiful music. It all felt blended together so that makes it difficult to review on specific songs, but I really felt like it was a great, slow, and gorgeously ambient album.

Illmatic by Nas
Sep 28 2023

Great hip hop album. One of the best from it's best days.

Sep 29 2023

Amazing album. I genuinely loved it. Chill, somber yet feel-good, slow album full of groove and soul and spirit. 5 stars easily.

Hail To the Thief by Radiohead
Oct 03 2023

Great sound, great vibe, great atmosphere, great album

Loveless by My Bloody Valentine
Oct 04 2023

Great sound. A bit too ambient for me. I couldnt understand one single lyric, which is fine, but I dont know. It really did sound great, and that feeling of the early 90s alternative scene is strong and beautiful.

Microshift by Hookworms
Oct 06 2023

The music was excellent. The singing was a bit too 2010's for me. But still, well done Hookworms.

Oct 11 2023

so, so, so much more "60's"y than I could have imagined. David Bowies first album and this one have more in common than I ever would have guessed. Their musical ability is there but WOW, the lyrics and their delivery are not the coolest. That beings said, it had plenty of good moments. One song sounded like a precursor to "Set the controls for the heart of the sun". Interesting but I think I'll avoid this one on any Pink Floyd re-listening.

Os Mutantes by Os Mutantes
Oct 13 2023

Weirdly fantastic. I didnt love every song but the ones I did love were genuinely great. Will definitely re-listen

Oct 17 2023

Respect it more than I like it. Nirvana has great riffs and an iconic vibe and all, but I'm not really excited by grunge.

Hot Shots II by The Beta Band
Oct 20 2023

Good production, nice sounds, nice vibes, but a little middle-of-the-road.

Out Of The Blue by Electric Light Orchestra
Oct 23 2023

Excellent production. Excellent music. Some excellent songs. Lots of filler.

So by Peter Gabriel
Oct 24 2023

Very solid album, I'm just not that into this style.

Pearl by Janis Joplin

Lost Souls by Doves
